M7 superlite is actually a 'lighter' version of the M7 format, while M7 requires team to secure 5 game-point, the superlite only needs 3, & game-time is 10mins instead of 20mins.

*
1 point per game won in a set, game-point is 3...
min game per set = 3games (3-0)
max game per set = 5games (3-2)

expected total games in a tourney (as per in paul's 1st posting) is 15games & the max is 25games, which is just 3 games more than the normal M5 format (prelim-10, 2nd - 3, q/final - 3, semi - 3, final 3). but if wanna save energy (& pellets) then train hard & secure winning in all sets, meaning just play 15games to become tourney champion... & of course free registration to the WCA08...!  Wink

2min break.

If there is a 3+2 game, then the break time already 10 min.

As I know the game play is only 10 min.

Correct me if i am wrong, cause i dont have experience in this format...

Game time is the time allocated for actual play time in the field and not inclusive of break time..

in other word, game time clock will be stopped during break until the next game starts.. just like the time-out in NBA...  Wink

just some little suggestion for the M7 s/lite...

- better & louder working buzzer at the gate.
- IF possible, scoreboard or at least a clock/timer display for easy time-tracking.
