Am looking for the LAPCO or Deadlywind Milsim body for the Ion. Mainly because the rails are at 45 degree angles to the body rather on the side, which would be too low and probably make sighting a bother:

or

Although, this is a bit too much:

You could get the copy tactical body that was on the market a while back and use a 45 offset sight rail on it.
Ask MK84 where he got the tac body from Grin

Rather than the Lapco, you should go for the DTi3, it's much better body IMHO, based on AGD Tac-One.

The DTI 3 looks pretty hunky and more tactical. Hahaha. I've been debating between the two and it appears that the Lapco will be lighter. I only need the rear 45 degree rails for my aimpoint anyway. The DTI 3 does have the bonus of bolt out the back, even though you need to remove 2 screws. Much easier than disassembling the entire marker.

Not to mention the rails are cast into the body instead of bolted on.

I had a tac ion last time, used it for the first C&C.  Grin
