The Luxe Quick-Strip Challenge
Take The Luxe Quick-Strip Challenge at World Cup

The introduction of the Luxe professional grade paintball marker has given speed a whole new meaning. When paintball players talk about speed, they immediately think of how many balls per second their marker can fire, and the Luxe excels there. Its quiet, accurate and consistent firepower are among the reasons you'll see top professional paintball players like Ryan Greenspan, Konstantin Federov and Rocky Knuth use it at World Cup - but there is another kind of speed that is just as important.

The Luxe has broken all-new ground with its rapid maintenance design. Magnetic latching systems and an integrated de-gassing vent allow the entire valve system of the Luxe - as well as its ball detent and anti-chop eye assemblies - to be removed for cleaning or inspection in a matter of seconds.

"From the Ironmen to the All-Americans, I've played for and coached some of the best professional paintball teams in the world," says DLX Technology Director Darryl Trent, "and I've competed at that level in America, Canada, South America and Europe. The difference between winning and losing isn't just how fast you are on the field - it's also how fast you can get ready or deal with a problem in the staging pit. We took that to heart with the Luxe design and it blows everything else away."

To demonstrate this rapid maintenance capability, DLX Technology will be holding Luxe disassembly races at the 2008 PSP Paintball World Cup. Several times each day of the event, groups of four competitors will race against each other and the clock to remove the ball detent assemblies and Power Core from Luxe paintball markers, and to disassemble the power core into its three primary components. Assorted prizes will be available to the winners of each race,  with the daily winners competing in a finals heat to win their very own DLX Luxe professional grade paintball marker.

Players of all ages are welcome to enter the Luxe Quick-Strip Challenge, though a parent or guardian's presence will be required for minors to participate.  Competition slots will be available on a first-come first served basis. Participants will need to be available to compete in playoff or final rounds if they qualify and wish to advance in the competition. Please see the DLX Technology Group booth at the 2008 PSP Paintball World Cup trade show for contest times and registration.
