'The Mid-Atlantic Open' - 2nd Leg of PSP

The Russians knocked out Ironmen to advance to the finals in an amazing game where the Ironmen were leading by 5 points. Xfactor took down Dynasty to play the Russians in a close back and forth game. This would be Xfactor's first ever apperance in the NXL finals after just 1 season in the NXL. Truly these guys have made some huge strides.

But the Russians were hungry. They lost LA after what they considered to be unfair reffing. Xfactor got up a couple points early on, but the Russians fought back and kept the score board running. A few overly long points sealed the fate of Xfactor who completely gave up and let time run out with over a minute left on the clock. It was a little disapointing because even though there was no chance for a comeback you'd think there would be some guys on the team willing to come out and play the last minute of their first ever finals appearance. But still, Xfactor was definitely on fire this event. Look for team to make regular Sunday appearances from here on out.

The Chicago Open - 3rd Leg of PSP

Xfactor takes first place in the NXL! Beats the Ironmen 7 to 6 in a slippery back and forth game that had Xfactor pulling away right before halftime as the Ironmen received a 5 minute penalty.

The 'Men were never able to recover and Xfactor controlled the pace of the game from there to win their first ever NXL event. This is on the heels of their 2nd place finish at the MAO.

The 2nd place finish puts the Ironmen in the #1 spot in the NXL season rankings.
