Feb 1st...It was still early....pick up my team-mates around 9:30a.m, as we have a duel with D Fox team at 10-30a.m. Went there early, meet up with Chief Marshall, apparently some group of girls + boys are already playing in No Man's Land.... what a sightful of early massarce view.... Other team-mates arrive...but just 6??? Apparently the other 2 members MIA. so much for teamwork.
Couple of minutes later, D Fox team is this missing...so got the team to suit up, prepare themselves just in case the D Fox team arrived in full gear. None turned up. Minutes later, D Fox team lead arrive, greeted us and we were chatting with them. My team are good to go, but the odds of going against 9 players vs 6 is not always in favour. In came Gung-ho Paul, full armored walking machine. :D 9 vs 7....seems OK.
1st Round (D Fox wins)
Got got ourselves Base A (lotsa of bushes and trees, nice for hiding!). First tactic was to split into 3 / 4 where 3 will be doing defence on the left field providing cover fire while 4 assaulters will take on the right side (going by the net).
Results: All 4 assaulters committed suicide due to heavy fire from the middle tall grasses (think the D Fox Team Lead was hiding there..) and a barrage of fire from the other D Fox members). Which leads to 3 team got bashed up from behind (D Fox team circle behind Base A).
2nd Round (R6 Wins)
This time change tactics, since all the assaulters got killed, 4 of them went to defence mode on the left field while the 3 providing cover on the right field.
Results: 4 Assaulters managed to hold the position in a defence position, managed to take up the one guy in urban pants, one gal, and for god knows how many of them. the 3 defence guy managed to take out the rest of them. Was about to shout "Go Forward...." then the marshall sound the "siren".....this was it...we"ve won!!!
3rd Round (D Fox wins)
D Fox team request to change base ...so we exchange base with them. This time, tactic was 3 split on the left side, while the 4 assaulter holding the right side of the field, preventing the opposition from coming.
Results: Left side collapse, leading the D Fox team circle around the back. I tried to cover the left side, again don't know why, my team mate silver wolf took out the guy in urban pants again but got hit on the butt.....went to my own base..only to see the rest of the assaulters got massarce from behind.... *suk*...
4rd Round (D Fox wins)
Time to play badd-ass again. The tactic was to lure the D Fox to the base. Both silver wolf and myself will be doing the ambush. Both Red / Firefly was supposed to run to the left side, shoot and run back to lure them back to our base while silver wolf hides well behind the bushes and I'm just behind the base. The other 3 provides defence on the right field.
Results: Both Red/Firefly came back...walking..so I presumed they're hit! Again, for god know's why, the guy in urban pants walked casually near our base and I thought he's been hit and trying to go back to the safety zone. I tailed him from behind until he saw me and raise the marker, this time I have to take him out. The rest of the D Fox team saw me....the guy in yellow shirt tries to take me out from the right, while the other guy came from the left both shooting. managed to take out D Fox team lead and the yellow shirt guy but got shot in the process. Silver wolf took out 2 more D Fox team before he got shot. Overall, the this ambush works, but only if we are more patience.
Overall comment on the D Fox team:
Good game. Played well, very honest and plays with integrity. The Rainbow team appreciate this type of play with D Fox and hope to play again next month.
